about the villa: VILLA BIANCA on 09/04/2013
My family and I had a wonderful stay at Villa Bianca. The property is beautiful and it was well-equipped to provide everything we could wish for. The extensive sun terraces were fantastic and the views of Sorrento, Vesuvius and Capri were captivating. We were welcomed warmly by the owners and they went out of their way to make us happy and comfortable. We loved making use of the pizza oven - great fun!

about the villa: VILLA ELISI on 01/04/2013It is a beautiful place in the middle of nature and it was easily accessible. The Italian owners welcomed us warmly and have been always available, but without being intrusive. The house is well-equipped with everything we needed, with an astonishing panoramic view over the sea and Capri Iasland. The village is about 10 min walking.Definetely Highly recommended !

Bernard from United Kingdom, October 14, 2012 at 12:18 PM Stayed in October 2012, so out of season but still warm egonuh to sit by the excellent swimming pool. The room was very large and spotlessly clean with a view overlooking the . The staff were all very efficient and seemed to be a very happy and friendly crew. I really enjoyed the location, Salo and Gargnano are two underrated towns within a short bus or boat ride, this part of the lake is much less frenetic than other areas.

about the villa: VILLA LOBRA on 16/01/2013Little italian paradise where you can forget everyday life. :) The House is big, clean and in very good condition. It has two Floors and a roof-top terrace with a little Bar and sunbeds. Also there is a nice viewing point on the property which you can reach via some steps above the house. You can light this path during the night. All over the property you can find some chairs or sunbeds to sit down and relax or read a book. And from all over the property you have this wonderful view over the coast and to the Vesuvio which is about 56km away. In the first Floor of the house is the kitchen with everything you need in your holidays, the living room with flatscreen TV and a comfortable sofa. Also there is an extra Bathroom with a washing machine, toilet and shower. Outside you have a big terrace with a large table to eat, play and chat with friends or family. Above the Table is a sun blind which gives you shadow during the day. In the evening you can watch the sun going down while you eat your spaghetti on the terrace.:) If you want to make a pizza you can use a typical stone baking oven which you can find outside. Also there is a barbeque/grill outside, so you wont feel hungry or bored!:) In the second floor there is a big Bathroom with bathtub and the 3 sleeping rooms, all of them clean and with nice furnishings. Outside in the second Floor there is a nice Pool which we used very often, even in the night. You go inside via a ladder and even inside the pool you can enjoy the wonderful view over the coast. The owner of the house cleans the pool every second day, so it is always clean and has enough water. He is a really nice guy always willing to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Once we had a problem with the light in the house, so we called him and he came within 15 minutes to fix it, even it was 10pm! The region around Massa Lubrense is typical italian, with little bendy streets and cliff coasts. We had a car so it was no problem to drive around and go for shopping in Sorrento, which is about 9km away. But there is also a little supermarket in Massa Lubrense you could use. If you want to go to the ocean or the harbour of Massa Lubrense, you can take a path down the hill. It will lead you through some olive groves, stairs and the lower Massa Lubrense to the Harbour. There are some spots you can go in the water or rent some sunbeds to spend more time over there. It’s a little stony, so you might take some sandals with you. The water has a nice temperature and is really clear. Be sure to take some goggles with you, so you can see starfishes and holothurians. We spent a wonderful and relaxing Week in this beautiful House in Massa Lubrense! I can recommend this place and would definitely come back!

about the villa: VILLA STRABONE (NEW) on 11/01/2013
My family and I stayed at this villa last year and had an amazing time. There were six of us staying (including two children under 3) and there was so much space within the villa and the private grounds, a fabulous time was had by all. Everything within the villa was clean and well maintained and if ever there was a problem, it was dealt with very promptly. Waking up to such breathtaking views was something I shall never forget! I agree about a small car being advisable...the road leading to the villa is extremely narrow. I would thoroughly recommend this villa to others.

about the villa: VILLA LIMONETO C on 19/12/2012
We had the pleasure of stiayng at this lovely villa. We are a family of 3 (2 adults and 1 child age 4). We were amazed at how big the villa was, it was huge. The decor was homely, clean and inviting and we felt at home straight away. The pool and the patio area were lovely too we were happy knowing that there were great child precautions for the pool.We had a query on the alarm system and when we phoned the Management Company they answered our query straight away. They were also very professional and extremely helpful. We wouldn't hesitate in stiayng here again. I would also like to say booking the villa and getting the villa information prior to the holiday was so easy, it was ideal that I could speak and email to someone in the UK as we didn't have to worry about the time difference. All excellent.

about the villa: VILLA GIOIA on 06/12/2012
What a great vacation--Sunny and hot the whole week!! Villa Gioia was truly a pleasant find. It's situated in the heart of all the action and is one flight of steps down to the beach. The villa is very well maintained and has a beautiful, private courtyard. It has 2 exits - one leads to the beach and the other through the courtyard into a winding street where the majority of the shopping and street vendors are located. The hosts are very warm and helpful. Gave suggestions where to eat, scheduled our luggage pickup and return driver. Upon leaving, you'll want to get a motorized porter to take your luggage back up to the main road otherwise you'll need to lug it up hill (and thru the crowds) for quite a distance. The porter charged 10 euro/bag and was well worth it. We flew into Naples Airport and hired a driver for 90 euro each way. It took us 1.5-2 hrs to get to Positano from Naples. Weddings are performed there almost daily and we watched all the wedding couples coming and going. If you wish to lie in a beach chair w/ an umbrella on Spiaggia Grande beach (and trust me, you do) plan on paying 15 euro each. This isn't a large beach by American standards. You can leave your towel on your chair and come and go all day for that rate. The water was warm in mid June, but lots of (hot) pebbles instead of sand. The two closest restaurants are Chez Black and Buca di Bacco-both were very good for dinner, but expensive for breakfast/lunch.

What an amazing stay! This villa is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. We can't say enough about the owners: they were extremely kind and friendly and made us feel like family. Grazie tante!! Wonderful view off the balcony and a real country feel. Bonus: off the beaten path yet right on a bus stop.

about the villa: VILLA LIMONETO B on 22/11/2012
We stayed in the apartment - 2 seniors, 2 children and 2 adults. It was spacious, very clean and had a nice terrace with views of the ocean and mountains that surround Sorrento - nice to sit at the end of the day with a Peroni. Easy walk into town, with supermarkets, pizzeria, patissiere, just a few minutes walk down the road. Sorrento can get very crowded with tourist. Santa Lucia is close to town but at the end of the day, you can escape the crowds. The hosts were very accommodating and gave us some really helpful information. The ground and pool are very clean and attractive. Gino, with some notice, will cook pizza in his woodfired oven for guests. Kids enjoyed the pool. We went on a boat trip to Capri which we was the highlight of our trip. We also caught the train to Pompeii. So lots to do in Sorrento you could easily spend a week there without getting bored.

about the villa: APPARTAMENTO MARE B on 21/11/2012
"Incredible Views, Great Place to Stay" We stayed in this apartment for 5 days while in Positano and couldn't be happier with our choice. Lots of room in this 1 bed, 1 bath w/kitchenette and living room. Free wifi, patios overlooking Positano and the sea from the living room and the bedroom (breath taking views), air conditioning, and great access to main street and steps to the beach. Bed was comfy and the place was super clean. Owners were available to ask questions and very nice. They also helped us book a driver from Naples to Positano--a good decision after a long travel day. Highly recommend this place and these owners!
