LOCATION

After less than five minutes from the centre of Massa Lubrense in the direction of Santa Maria Annunziata a small drive-way leads to the property located in Marciano which is one of the last towns on the Sorrento Peninsula (going further on one would get to the area of Termini which, along with a tiny district of Massa Lubrense called Punta Campanella is the stretch of land that separates the bay of Naples from the bay of Salerno).
Even Gioacchino Murat (brother-in-law of Bonaparte Napoleon) was so enchanted by the beauty of these places that he built a sumptuous villa in Santa Maria Annunziata (another small district of Massa Lubrense about only 1 km away from the farmhouse) to be present at the progress of the battle between French and English for the lordship of Capri.
It only takes 10 minutes by car, public bus or any vehicle to get to prestigious, characteristic towns such as Nerano, Sorrento or Sant' Agata sui due Golfi - there are great places for long walks or even boat rides.

TYPOLOGY

After parking your car in the handy lot you only need to go up a few steps on the characteristic stairs, made of the area's typical lava stone, among blooming olive trees and ornamental plants to get to the building. All the facilities; the garden, the swimming pool with deck chairs, sun beds an sunshades, the barbecue area with grill and wood oven furnished with table and chairs are the points of strength of this apartment. Most of the above-mentioned furniture is made of maroon rattan with very detailed implementation, the shady areas are covered by pergola and what's even more important: all of these areas have amazing views of the Vesuvius, l'Annunziata and the sea of the bay of Naples and its islands (Capri, Ischia e Procida). The well-serviced garden and the pool area is taken care of by professional personnel on a daily basis.
The villa consists of three divisions in the following way:

1 - To the first one (San Lorenzo A) a furnished front yard (with table, chairs and sunshade) gives access. You will enter the living room that has got armchair, table, chairs, TV, kitchen corner and window to the garden. Then follow the bedrooms: a double, a king size and a single bedroom, all with view either of the garden or of the pool. Then, as last, there is the shower room.
2 - Entering the second apartment (San Lorenzo B) from the furnished front yard on your left there will be the living room with table and rattan armchairs where one can relax gazing to the greens of the garden through glass walls.
Afterwards you will find the kitchen/dining room (with table and chairs) that accesses the two bedrooms (a double and a king size one - each one with view to the garden, the sea and the Vesuvius) and to the shower room.

3 - Going up on a small ramp at the back of the garden you will get to a small private patio with pergola that gives access to the apartment San Lorenzo C. You will enter the living room/equipped kitchen, bathroom (shower) and king size bedroom on your right, it has a panoramic view just as the other double bedroom. Then follows the living room/veranda with comfy couches and tables, and with exit to the 40 square meters private terrace (furnished with table, chairs, sunshades and deck-chairs) with view of Capri and of the Vesuvius.. here you get the feeling as if you could hug the entire Naples Bay.

The villa has been furnished neatly; using characteristic materials of the area (sometimes even used pieces of furniture from other older quarters), giving an untouched, rural look to this place. That's all thanks to the owners' passion who would not let the modern trends take away from this antique village style and the real taste of an old-fashioned farmhouse.
